WebHOWEVER, I also realized that almost every time it crashed (possibly every time), it was after going to PS Home Screen (usually to look at a trophy that just popped). So those are my two suggestions until they fix this. Switch to performance mode, and DO NOT USE THE PS HOME SCREEN DURING A RUN UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.
