Firstly, the sea is a brownish pink colour thanks to all the mud that gets transported down the many Guyanese rivers, not to mention the Orinoco and the Amazon, and into the ocean. WebOrinduik Falls is located right at the border between Guyana and Brazil. Local villagers will swim across from the Brazil side to sell crafts whenever they see a plane load of visitors coming. The water is quite chilly and do not underestimate the force of the falls. The rocks are slippery so water shoes are recommended.
