You remove the shaft by removing the c-clip inside the differential, pull the shaft, and the bearing and seal is in the end of the tube. BINGO!! This is the correct answer!! The outer bearing and axle seal reside in the end of the axle tube and are NOT pressed onto the axle shaft.
