WebJul 28, 2024 · My Rift S used to give me a lot of mic issues when I first got it, and I'm pretty sure it was due to USB bandwidth limitations. The things that fixed it for me was plugging my Rift S into my USB 3.1 port on my motherboard and then making sure I don't have anything unneeded plugged in, mainly my audio mixers/preamps.
