WebYes, you could take the keyboard off, but it's much more stable if the keyboard case stays on. As a Tab S1, S2, S3, S4(that keyboard case was good), S7+, and now Tab S8 Ultra owner, I have experience what worked, and what sucks. The Spigen S7+ Beetle case was a much better experience.
