WebDec 9, 2024 · The problem with the Moen puller is that it needs a much longer base. I used to do that with various length rings of 1" PVC pipe. This tool recognizes that issue with a better design. BTW, you can get free 1225 valves sent to you as a warranty item from Moen support.
